JADE - the European Confederation of Junior Enterprises – is a non-profit international umbrella-organisation of enterprises established and managed by students.
The network is currently composed of 15 Confederations and Consultative Members from Europe, suming up 280 Junior Enterprises.
The Junior Entrepreneurs (members of Junior Enterprises) are students who want to get practical experience during their studies by developing their own professional projects and by offering different consulting services, experiencing unique learning opportunities in the real business world. The network offers them the benefit to exchange knowledge and experience and also work together on international projects.
Mission:
•Represent the European JE Movement •Integrate the European Network of Junior Enterprises thus encouraging knowledge exchange and cooperation •Support the development of our members (Confederations and Consultative Members) •Foster the Junior Enterprise Concept to non-member countries •Encourage entrepreneurship among students in higher Education through Junior Enterprise Concept
Vision by 2012:
• JADE is an integrated Network in which Confederations and Junior Enterprises communicate with each other and have the opportunity to cooperate • JADE Headquarters uses a highly developed Quality Management System, and actively stimulates the development of the Confederations by providing platforms for knowledge exchange on European level • JADE is visible and recognised by external stakeholders as the voice of Junior Enterprise Movement and youth entrepreneurship in Europe
